Sun and Sand: Selective Coloring
This photoshop design focused on the principle of selective coloring. It is a process that desaturates and fades the image colors, so that the Brush tool can be used to choose the colors that are wanted to stand out. I really liked designing this picture of a couple on the beach, because using this application of selective coloring makes the image pop.
Phillies Stadium: Adding Pop to Photos
The above design includes applications that allow for extra pizazz to be added to the image. By isolating part of the image that is desired to stand out and blurring the rest, the photo has been taken to a new level and looks very intriguing. I tried to pick a photo with many clear contrasting colors so that the image would "pop" even more.
Intro Banner: Banner for a Webpage
This design is a very attractive and useful way to apply a banner to a webpage. By using simple shapes and applying gradients and colors, it is a quick and easy design that provides a good look while also allowing for the creator to give the banner a more personal touch.
