This webpage exists for two basic reasons: to give examples and explanations about specific designs within Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and HTML webpages, and also to show my abilities as a designer. In addition, by creating my own webpage with external links to my other webpages, this site also serves to show my ability in creating HTML documents.
I think my abilities as a designer have improved greatly after taking the computer science class Electronic Publishing & Design. Before I took this course, I only had a small amount of knowledge about Photoshop, and none about InDesign or creating an HTML document. Now, I think I can safely say that I would be comfortable completing a task in any one of these programs. However, I still do not know how to do everything and my abilities are still limited because this is the first course I have taken in something like this. Although this is true, I do believe that I am able to complete assignments in these programs with much more ease and have them look much better than before.
